Every child is born musical
Our research-backed program nurtures that gift from day one, building their innate musicality and supporting every dimension of early childhood development.
Active music-making builds brain connections, supporting language and social-emotional development.
No experience needed. Your participation is the magic ingredient for your child — just by showing up, being present, and having fun!
No pressure, no performance. They simply do what kids do — listen, observe, imitate, experiment, play and have fun. Repeat. Again and again.
Grounded in decades of research in music education and child development. We’re on a mission to make the world a better place by making it more musical™.
In your Music Together class, you'll sing, dance, and play alongside your child and other families. One minute you’re stomping around like dinosaurs. The next minute, your child is hopping into your lap for a car ride or snuggling up for a lullaby. Some children jump right in. Others watch, explore, or find their own way into the music. However your child responds is completely okay. For forty-five minutes each week, you get to simply enjoy the music-making with your little one.
From the songs to the way your teacher guides class, everything in class has been intentionally designed for the way children learn: through play with their grownups. Behind it all is more than 40 years of research in music and early childhood development. The activities invite children in, and the music has the variety and artistry to keep grownups engaged. As you're drawn into the music, your child will be too.
The music doesn't stop when class ends. With the Music Together App and illustrated songbook, it’s easy to keep it going at home. Soon, the songs start popping up everywhere—during car rides, kitchen dance parties, silly moments, hard moments, and the ordinary routines that shape family life.
Over time, children begin to understand that music is not just something they hear. It’s something that belongs to them, something they can create and share with the people they love.
